With embroidery or wax-painting, the Swiss artist Loredana Sperini describes emotional states full of intensity and psychological density, interwoven with the illustrative visual language of pop-culture and everyday photography.
Esiste Comunqe, 2005
In conjunction with the exhibition “20 Jahre / 20 Years” in the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen in 2005, Sperini produced the large-format wall-painting “Esiste Comunqe” out of wax. The Kunstgiesserei developed a special wax mixture for Sperini, which the artist required in order to produce her wall work.
All the other works pictured here were worked on using the same wax.
