The artist duo had four women of different origins molded directly as body molds in silicon. The two-part bronze casting is held together with a plug fastener and was gilded in a galvanic bath. Each figure wears a classic, custom-tailored, maid costume and assumes a humble demeanor. The origins of each of the figures are always specifically connected to the where they are exhibited. Prior to the molding and casting work, the Kunstgiesserei selected the women in cooperation with the artists in a careful process.
