Get Out of my Room, 2006, table, wood, wax figure, artificial hair, leather, colored wax, chair, bronze, variable dimensions

 

A wax model of the same youth as in the project “Namenlose Strasse” was produced. The youth sits with his legs propped up on a table. The artist manually applied color to the face after the creation of the body molding. The surface of the wooden table consists of various colors of wax running into one another. After the wax was applied, the surface was sanded very finely and polished. The sculpture was shown in a solo-exhibition of Andro Wekua’s work in the Kunstmuseum Winterthur.
