In his art, the Georgian-born Andro Wekua deals mainly with associative images and seeks approaches to memory. The works created in the Kunstgiesserei depict the child in the transition to adulthood. The suggestive postures and the melancholic coloration of the painterly interventions make reference to an ambivalent state in the search for meaning.
